1: Do you have a crush at the moment?
At the moment, sort of. My crushes come on as random as a snowstorm in april in the midwest (Which happens quite often, so what the fuck). I'd rather not elaborate, considering the circumstances, heh..
2: Have you ever been deeply in love?
I will never know what being deeply in love is like until the feeling is reciprocated, unfortunately.
3: Longest relationship you've ever been in?
Excuse me, what's a relationship?
4: Have you ever changed for someone?
Never, no. I mean, I try to look better than I actually am sometimes when I want to impress them, but it's not drastic changes to my person.
5: How is your relationship with your ex?
I've never had an ex. Wishful thinking makes me hope my first try is good enough to not have to call someone my "ex". But if I did have one, it's largely depend on how the relationship ended. I'd imagine we'd still be friends and do things that we used to do, so long as our feelings are mutual.
6: Have you ever been cheated on?
Never been in a relationship.
7: Have you ever cheated?
Never been in a relationship. Would still never cheat. What's the point of that?
8: Would you date someone who's well known for cheating?
More than likely not, but I'm willing to give anyone a chance based on their future actions.
9: What's the most important part of a relationship?
I can't just pick one. Commitment, Empathy, honesty, and communication all ring in equal importance. Break one, and the others eventually falter.
10: Do you like to be in serious relationships or just flings?
...Flings? You mean where people just... Do something once and then that's it, who cares? ... That's too emotionally taxing. Of course, serious relationships are too, but in a good way! Why go for a meaningless, miniature departure from reality that could hurt each other, or worse. A serious relationship builds your character as a person and helps you understand the things I highlighted above better.
11: When you are dating someone do you believe in going on "breaks"?
Taking a break from the relationship so you can be with someone else is rude as fuck. Breaking the relationship up because you've fallen for someone else is different. Breaks for personal space or trust issues or because you're mad at each other may happen, but before it gets too far, you have to ask yourself, why
did you get with them in the first place? Communication is a big factor in this.
12: How many people have you ever hooked up with?
0.
13: What's one thing you regret saying/doing in a previous relationship?
N/A
14: What age do you think is appropriate for kids to start having sex?
16 if both are 16/17, otherwise 18+. I believe people are having sex way too early these days. I think kids in general shouldn't be having sex until they're committed to their partners and are old enough to understand the implications of lust and desire. Our culture thrives on self-image and how "being a virgin" is like some status infliction upon their character.
15: Do you believe in the phrase "age is just a number"?
No. Age is easily an indicator of the capacity of experience one has. A person that has been on this earth for far longer than you might have more things to share with you, while you may be a whole generation off from them, creating interesting situations for the older person. It really makes a difference.
16: Do you believe in "love at first sight"?
Personally, I don't.
17: Do you believe it's possible to fall in love on the internet?
Ugh. I want to believe. But I've just had this vendetta against online relationships for a long period of time due to so many people around me falling because of them. But I'd be willing to try anything if it meant finding someone to love and cherish.
18: What do you consider a deal breaker?
Consistent lying. If you're not straight with me, why do I need to waste my time being straight with you? This encompasses a number of issues including commitment/cheating and communication/genuine concern.
19: How do you know it's time to end a relationship?
When the feelings are beyond repair. Actions are irreverseable, yet forgiveable.
Words are reversable, yet hard to keep. In a real situation, I'd give it my all
to keep the relationship up, but if the other end isn't fulfilling any part of
it, I'll eventually lose energy to the point that it's pointless.
20: Are you currently in a relationship?
No.
21: Do you think people who have dated can stay friends?
Yes.
22: Do you think people should date their friends?
Only if the feelings are mutual, and that it is agreed that if things turn out bad, that they should still have each other's backs. I'm so scared of the opposite happening though.
23: How many relationships have you had?
0
24: Do you think love can last forever?
The love that you hold for a person can. The relationship may not last in the same way, unless both are strong for each other in times of weakness.
25: Do you believe love can conquer all things?
I hold a different philosophy on this. The love for your neighbor is a good one to go by. Far as love with a person you want to be with for all eternity, and they do too? That is real and true. Love for the two may not change the world. But you can bet for those two people, the world as they know it will change for them.
26: Would you break up with someone your parents didn't approve of?
No. Due to my upbringing, I don't think they'd approve of anyone unless they were a white girl. That's terrible isn't it? I love my family, but they don't control my life.
27: If you could go back in time and give yourself one piece of advice about dating what would it be?
..Ha. I have no idea. My past self wasn't interesting in dating, and my current self almost certainly isn't taking dating seriously that much more now either.
28: Do you think long distance relationships can work?
Tch... No, not if the two don't eventually come up with a way to see each other in person. I've seen too many relationships end due to circumstances that would have been more easily addressed in person, especially if they were patient enough to wait for that to happen, or if something didn't happen that caused it to blow up.
29: What do you notice first about another person?
Their face and eyes. They are the window to the soul they say, and more importantly, it helps me gauge how they react to situations and other people.
30: Are you straight, bi, gay or pansexual?
Came to the conclusion that I'm demisexual. I fall for personality and THEN find the traits that I love about them. Every crush I've had fits this criteria. Most of them are friends or people I've gotten close to. But I've only admitted my feelings for one of them.
Far ... as... personal lust and stuff outside of relationship building... That's my business >_>
31: Would it bother you if your partner suffered from any mental illness?
Obviously. Not a deal breaker, but I'd want to be there for them when they need me to. If the relationship hurts them more than it helps them, I'd want to end it for their sake. But otherwise I'd still be there as a friend no matter what.
32: Have you ever been in an abusive relationship?
N/A
33: Do you want to get married one day?
Maybe. But I could care less if I never get married. If one day I found my search to become happy with a person fruitless, then I'd be just like any other man out there that just starts a family JUST to say he did. Family and marriage is too much of a status symbol and financially appealing; no longer is it a sign of true commitment.
34: What do you think about getting your partner's name tattooed?
Ha. That's tough to say. If they felt that strongly about it, I might consider it, but only if we were so far in the relationship, like years and years, without an end to it in sight. I'd consider it then.
35: Could you be in a relationship without sex?
Yes. As long as I get to feel the warmth of their body and they don't mind me personally being turned on by being with them, then I'd be okay with that. I'd love for them to reconsider, and would probably tease them and try to help them ease into it if it was possible. But only if it wasn't against their will or their health, you know?
36: Are you still a virgin?
Yes.
37: What's more important: Looks or personality?
Personality. Looks are important, but not as.
38: Do you enjoy love films?
No, not really, at least not alone.
39: Have you ever given anyone/received roses?
No.
40: Have you ever had a valentine?
I can't remember. Don't think so.
41: What's your imagination of a "perfect date"?
No way can I judge or determine that. A perfect date would be one with the one I love.
42: Have you ever read "Romeo & Juliet"?
Yes.
43: What's more important: Your partner or your friends?
My partner would never put me in a position to sacrifice my good or best friends, so I would be confident in trusting and giving more importance to them over friends or acquaintances.
44: Would you consider yourself "romantic"?
Only if other people want me to be, otherwise I'm kind of lost on what's a good idea or a bad idea when it comes to romance, hehe... I do best when I'm believed in.
45: Could you imagine to date one of your current friends?
...Yes.
46: Have you ever been "friendzoned"?
Maybe? I don't know personally if I have been.
47: Which "famous couple" is your favorite?
There are famous couples? Famous for what, breaking up? Making babies? The media sucks. I'm not into that crap.
48: What's your favorite love song?
I can't pick a good love song because I'm not into mushy movies or writings. But this is one of my favorites (I know, it's disney, but come on...)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_syirWbi4TY
49: Have you ever broken someone's heart?
I don't know if I've truly broken anyone's for sure to say yes or no.
50: If you're single, why do you think you are?
I'm patient and feel love is important enough to give weight to over other things that people seek immediately in life. Sure, life isn't long, but who needs length in their love life when they can have quality if they're just smart about their decisions.
51: Would you rather date someone who's rich but a douchebag or someone who's poor but a nice guy/girl?
Poor/Nice.
52: Are you good at giving other people advice regarding dating/ relationships?
Despite having no prior experience with relationships, I've seen enough of them that I feel my second-hand knowledge of typical situations and my level-headedness is enough to give a helping hand or shoulder to lean on. I can't say I'd know exactly what to say to help someone, but I'm never judgmental of my friends or family.
53: Are you jealous of couples when you're single?
I don't really think about it.
54: How important is it to make a relationship official (p.e. on facebook)?
Not important. What's official is what's between you and your special someone, and the love you hold dear with them.
55: Would you consider yourself "clingy", "overly attached" or "jealous"?
Ashamed to say I think I'm clingy. I'm sorry, but I just get really attached and start missing someone when we've spent a long time with each other, then something changes to where we don't see each other as often.. I get over it, and thanks to friends and the understanding they have, I can vent it out and get over it easier. I think it's okay to miss someone a little bit, right?
56: Have you ever "destroyed" a relationship?
With a friend, no, but they've destroyed it for me. For a lover, I haven't had one yet.
57: Do you think it's silly to consider suicide because of a broken heart?
Suicide is a touchy subject for me. I literally break down in tears and ... jesus I'm already starting to well up just thinking about it. I can't imagine ever commiting suicide due to that, and for anyone who has or has thought about it or tried, rethink yourself. Do you really think that out of the billions of people on this earth, you won't find love from someone again? It's hard, but, really, it's not worth taking the potential happiness you could have in the future and throwing it down the hole!
58: Are you the "dominant" or the "submissive" part in a relationship?
I can and like both equally.
59: Have you ever forgotten important dates like your partner's birthday or your anniversary?
I tend to never forget birthdays of any of my best friends. Haven't had a relationship yet to speak about anniversaries, but I'd always remember.
60: What's your opinion on open relationships?
Don't understand it, won't understand it, not into it, and don't care.
61: Who's more important: Your partner or your family?
My dad would be the only one I consider more important than my partner because he's literally the only close person I have left in my life. No one knows me like he does, and never will.
62: How do you define "cheating"?
Roughhousing with a maid on Christmas eve = cheating. Flipping through porn channels = not cheating. Doing flings and one night stands = cheating. Turned on by another person besides me = not cheating. It's hard to define. Your actions speak volumes, if it seems like it's cheating to you, and you have to question it, it's obviously cheating. Lust in your heart hurts more than anything, but it's fine if you admit those feelings before you commit irreversible actions.
63: Is watching porn while being in a relationship inappropriate?
Only if they're doing it in front of me. I'd prefer they'd involve me somehow rather than replace me with it.
64: Do you think Valentine's Day is overrated?
The media overrates it and hypes it up. I think it's a good reminder for everyone to think about not just your lover, but your friends and family.
65: Would you consider yourself a "cuddler"?
I don't know. I've never been that close to someone to want to cuddle with them in real life. But I'd probably be really into it, considering the closeness of another warm body is enough for me to feel safe and loved and secure.
