Looking for a new Job?
Hey first off happy Valentines Day :D!
So some of you may actually know what I do outside of the furry community. I'm a Headhunter.. No not in the sense of lobbing heads off and carrying them by horseback to collect a bounty...
But I look for jobs for people or I should say for companies. They reach out to me and ask "Hey Lowtide do you know any Graphic designers?" To which I say "I might I'll get back to you!" and I go on the hunt... Sometimes on horse back...
I have been posting a number of my jobs on Facebook so that my friends and family have a chance to see whats available. But a number of my friends aren't on my Facebook. So I decided to post the jobs on here as well. The great thing about FA is that it's not just a pool of local people I went to school with or hang out with outside of work. You guys are from all over! And if your not interested you may know someone who is.
So I wanted to reach out to you guys to see if there would be any interest on your part. Here's how things will work. I will post a Journal every Friday with the Job Title - General Location - Salary. I should note I will include a brief description in the actual journal to give you a better idea of what the job involves. If your interested you can always note me or reply in comments at which point I can contact you and we can start to discuss what our next steps are.
**Company names I will only share if the company is interested in setting up an interview. Sorry its just how this business works**
FAQ
How many jobs do you have?
Currently my directory has a total of 60,000 open positions nation wide. So I have a lot of jobs to work on and try to pair you with.
What types of jobs do you have?
I work on a combination of many different jobs. Engineering (Including: Electrical, Mechanical, Aviation, Chemical, Process, Manufacturing, Civil and even Medical), Office Administration, Accounting, IT or computer technology, Residential and Commercial Construction (Welders, Electricians, HVAC-R, Controls, Techs, Roofers, Designers, and Architectual) and many more. Its hard to list them all but that's the basics.
What types of jobs don't you do?
Obviously jobs where businesses would have no trouble finding these people on their own would have no need for my services. Meaning companies that require general labor or food industries. Not to say we don't work with them when they come but it is rare.
What if I am interested in a job but none of the positions you posted are what I'm looking for?
I'd like to see what the feedback would be on what I post but I always have an open door policy for anyone interested in help. I should note that I do resume edits, career advice and give general industry updates to let you know if things are hiring or not and maybe even why.
Do you have entry level jobs?
I do the thing about these positions is its almost a game of quick draw. When I get a job for entry level I work with a number of different people with a revolver full of very skilled entry level people. Once we all see the Job we all eye each other up and load our best shot and let a rip! Yeah its that exciting haha. But basically this mean if your entry level person with a good educational background let me know how good you are so when that moment comes you have a shot at hitting the bulls eye.
Why should I go through you anyway? Can't I just apply on Career Builder, Monster, or Indeed?
You could and I would never say that isn't a viable route to go about finding new employment but there are a number of benefits having someone like me representing you in your job search. I'll list them like this:
1.) I market you :D for those that know me I'm a pretty good talker and the better I know you the better I can do to selling you to a company. And when I say to the company I talk directly with Hiring Managers (The people who call the shots).
2.) I have a personal directory of many jobs that are confidential that companies are not posting on many career portals that you see out there. So it could even expand the number of opportunities you apply for.
3.) A lot of these career sites have dummy jobs bent on stealing information, money, or even your identity. I only work on jobs where I have actually communicated with and in many cases have met personally.
Anyway I look forward to hearing from you guys and helping you in anyway I can :D
