General drunk update

Yeesh barely started this bottle of sake and I am pretty drunk :p The half bottle of white wine was a nice warmup. Junmai Ginjo from Granville Island, not bad but the stuff I had in Japan was better...
Happy Valentines! well it was actually over here 15 minuets ago, wish I had someone to howl at the full moon with.
Anyway I have come up with a couple methods for *sip* building a magnetically latching collar. I plan to build them as a bracelet first to save material. I do need to order some specific sized magnets first as well as spring wire to built my own springs from.
One of the latches keeps the Z seam from the red lantern comic the other will form kind of a "T", will picture the prototypes once done. *sip*
Haven't had as much time as I would like to work on the second gen legs, mostly want to have new feet done for Vancoufur. *sip* Had a few ideas to try out too, a lower profile mount for the steel cable, an adjustable toe ramp and more comfortable thigh section.
Glad this underlines spelling mistakes so as I can fix em, making a lot right now, about a 7 of 10 on the drunk scale now... Pretty boring drunk I just get clumsy an zone out.
Done the design for Amon's earring, will probably try milling one out early next week to see the physical weight and feel. Probably going to try a pin post for mounting, I don't have pierced ears, not sure who I can get to test one out for comfort, need to get a quote on gold plating too.

Lesee what else.. Had to miss a furry get together in Jasper due to work involving a styrofoam marmot and an electronic tie.. My work is interesting.
Just watching Flinters draw on Tigerdile, he showed off the keychain I gave him at FC :) aand now we are chatting about welding...

Hadn't thought of the turning skin colors thing. The density is something I've taken advantage of a few times now in gun parts that need more mass to slow down the reciprocating action.
Going further with the weight thing, I remember from somewhere you can copper plate aluminum, maybe they could throw gold over the top of that. Make for a really light weight one.
