Image type and characters - Type A 3D digital image of a humanoid reptilian creature being devoured by a Wyvern.

Why this image was chosen - 3 D pictures often don't look as good as the one featured in today's selection but this ones a beauty and here's why I've put it in the group's hall of fame. To begin with the whole picture is pretty decent to begin with, the predator's size difference to the prey works quite well in this scene and is believable. However, when I look at the head, the neck details and the prey character in this scene here is where this image shines mostly for me. The way the prey is positioned in this scene makes me feel that this is a willing scene, not to mention Akaikosh's reply to the upload which reads - " om nom nom into your belly I go (Again) " The best part of the prey's behavior is that while he's going down you can see that the left hand is rubbing under the predator's chin. It makes me think that he's trying to rub it in an attempt to feel any swallowing motions that might further stimulate his enjoyment while being eaten. Then we see the neck bulge which for me is the highlight of the image, its so amazing and nicely done, the neck as a whole is attractive, strong and has a stumpy muscular look to it. The textures work, so do the smaller lumps and shapes that you can make out in the larger bulge as a whole, I really enjoyed seeing this picture and it wasn't hard to put it into the hall of fame.
