Good idea. You could maybe even get the artist to sign where they're from so you can remember where all the book went.

Oh my gosh that sounds fun. I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem finding artists who would be willing to do it.
Just keep in mind the shipping and handling of the journal, because depending on where you send it to it could get pretty expensive. I think I may look into the actual cost of S&H and I may steal that idea.
When I went to cons we used to do stuff like this all the time. My friends and I would meet up and sketch in one another's books. I can tell you, just looking through it from time to time makes me smile. It's a great way to keep artwork.

Other than myself (being an artist who sketches and draws traditionally) I could recommend a few artists for you to check out, I don't know how many of them are open or would be interested in doing this, though I can't think of a reason to be opposed.
