I think I've run outta luck...

So as some of you are aware, I recently had an extreme run of bad luck last night.
At about 2am I left to get a pack of smokes when my paycheck cleared, and on my way back, I got stopped right across the police station for gunning it a bit hard up a hill. The officer was nice, and told me that he wasn't going to write me a ticket, but still had to run my license and reg.
He comes back, and tells me my license has been suspended, due to missing a court date.
Last summer, I had gotten a bogus speeding ticket, and I checked off the box on the citation, and a $25 check saying I was contesting the ticket.
Never heard anything after that, and figured they had said "fuck it".
Apparently, the state received my check, and sent my Court Summons Date to UMass Dartmouth. I have not set foot on that campus for four years. There is no point that I ever remember listing my address, mailing or otherwise, as that address.
UMass, as per their protocol, sent out messages to a nonexistant student on campus, and then sent it back to the sender, ie the state.
The State then proceeded to send "me" a notice that I had not appeared in court, and that my license was henceforth suspended, and again, UMass sent it right back to the state after waiting a bit.
Now, the state expects me to pay $100 for a class, then in four days get something to bring to the registrar saying I did the class, pay the initial bogus $250 ticket, along with a $100 late fee, one top of that pay another $50 for a renewal on my License. And I still hafta wait three weeks until I go to Newburyport court saying that I did all this, and am very very sorry and please let me drive again.
This is all utter horseshit, and I will be fighting this tooth and nail.
If I fail, I will most definitely not be going to AC this year. It just will not be possible.
But I'm hoping very hard that they hear the voice of reason, and see that there has been a giant fuckup on their part.

I have decided to sell my Xbox 360! It just sold tonight, and I can possibly use that money to either be used towards fines and whatnot, or towards repairing the ps3 my friend is giving me. So those of you who have PS3 and wanna possibly play GTAV or Gran Turismo 6, hit me up at RedRacerGTR24.
