yeah. i remember reading an article in a magazine, an interview with a diplomat who actually had the chance to interview sadaam. they were talking, the diplomat trying to get some prisoners freed and all, and he crossed his legs the way americans [i guess] do, with the high cross over the lap. of course, this revealed the bottom of his sole straight to hussein, who stormed around but the diplomat didn't know why.

when it was explained why, the diplomat stood his ground and didn't get grovel-y, rather being chill about it after pointing out that he didn't know about the insulting gesture. hussein appreciated his boldness for it and dismissed it all with a hand wave, releasing all prisoners or whatever.

Well that made my day! =D
