Thank you, Harold.

Not just for Ghostbusters, which was very important to many a childhood, including my own, but for all your other written, directed and starred works.
For Stripes, Animal House, Caddyshack, Meatballs, Groundhog Day, the Analyze This films, and even Year One (I liked it.)
Thank you.

Harold, know that you not only touched history: you changed it. All of those who know you, will say it was changed for the better.
Rest in peace, good sir.
Think I'll go play the game now...
gonna miss you Harold.
we shall miss you sir. so very much.
he hath borne me up my spirit a thousand times; and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! My gorge rims at it.
Here hangs those jokes that have made me laugh I know not how oft.
Where be your gibes now? Your gambols? Your songs? Your flashes of merriment, that were wont to set the table on a roar?

Unless he is cremated, I guess.
Egon was always my favorite of the Ghostbuster team because (despite his assertion that "print is dead" ) he was smart. He had the cool, logical head which countered Spengler and Ray's wackiness.
But beyond just being my favorite character from a popular movie, he was a fine actor, writer and director. The world is a much more lively place for having had in it people like him.
I wish him good travels and as much laughter in the next world as he gifted us all here.
If I may ask, is there any way to touch bases with you? kinda lost contact with ya.
