I was sad to hear about his passing, and indeed I had no idea he was so ill. He left us quite a body of wonderful work.

I was so shocked when I read about it. Ghostbusters was a huge part of my childhood.

There was the good one put out for PS3 and Xbox360. There were PS2 and Wii versions but they were inferior due to bad graphics and such.

We are all the poorer for losing this awesome funnysmith. RIP Harold Remis.

Hard to believe they called his card. I've been meanin' to watch the Ghostbusters movies again for some time now. So many classic movies happened because of him, he'll definitely be missed.

I heard the news this morning. This pretty much ends any faint hope of there ever being a Ghostbusters 3. It just wouldn't be the same without him. He will be greatly missed.

I had no idea.

Egon was always my favorite of the Ghostbuster team because (despite his assertion that "print is dead" ) he was smart. He had the cool, logical head which countered Spengler and Ray's wackiness.

But beyond just being my favorite character from a popular movie, he was a fine actor, writer and director. The world is a much more lively place for having had in it people like him.

That's too bad, he was always a fun guy to see on screen.

Harold was a great person in every movies he help bring out. Though I loved him as Dr. Spengler and as a great comedian. he will be greatly missed!
