So TFF was fucking awesome!!! Me and  Boondox had such an amazing time.

Everything started off kind of shitty because our flight was cancelled due to fog over Peoria, but we finally managed to get out of Peoria on our way to Dallas around 6pm.

This was my first time flying and I was really super nervous but I had Boon their to talk to and make funny faces at me, he kept me from freaking out too much. I hope I didn't bug him too much. Getting out so late we were in the sky at night and the view of all the city lights at night was gorgeous. The only real problem that I had with the flight after all was said and done was I had a large air bubble that stayed in my ear until about half way through the next day. It did it again on the trip back but not as badly.

We landed in Dallas got situated and grabbed a cab to the hotel. I don't know if the cabby was completely incompetent or scalping us but the cab was around $55 by the time we got to the hotel.

We checked in and dropped our shit off in our room and then made our way to our friends  fadingfate ,  wolfvision ,  friardon room to finally get to meet them. We've been talking with Dive and Logan over Skype for several months, it was so freaking amazing to finally get to meet them. After that we met up with  lefty6982 and adjourned to the room to get everyone settled and get some sleep.

The next day we ventured out with everyone for breakfast. We went to this place called The Original Pancake House. It was pretty good home cooked kind of food, fresh squeezed orange juice and all. I got this thing called an apple pancake. It was just giant pancake batter and apples thing all fried together in one big lump, it was tasty. After that we meandered around and Boon fursuited for a bit, we hit up the dealer's den and hung out with Dive and Righty off and on. That evening we joined the Beginners Furoticon tournament. This was me and Boon's first time playing the game. I have a lot of experience with Magic and similar card games but this was Boon's first one. We both had a lot of fun and ended up going back for a second tournament. Boon and me ended up buying cards to play back at home. Ordered Papa John's for supper with the whole gang and everyone told stories and what not. Was really fun and found out that Papa John's spinach alfredo and chicken pizza is the fucking bomb.

On Saturday Boon and Righty took part in the fursuit parade. I videotaped the parade again, upload of video is still pending. We still arn't sure who decided that it was a good idea to make the fursuiters walk down the escalator while it was shut down, it wasn't a bad parade. After the parade and more fursuiting we meandered back to our room to chill for a while, headed out for burgers at In and Out with Dive, Friar, and Logan, and then came back, hung out and played in the second Furoticon tourney. There are a couple other more fun things that happened the afternoon/evening but those will be our little secret hehehe.

Sunday was sad because we had to leave, we got packed and said our final fair wells to everyone, I got a little teary a couple of times but kept it all back, lol. Had another crappy experience with cabs. Me and Boon picked up some Urban Taco and Red Mango in the airport food court. DFW airport is gigantic. It surprised me that it is big enough to warrant an L style tram that runs everyone between terminals.

The worst part of coming home was missing all of the friends and coming home to the 29 degrees. We missed the 60+, shorts and t-shirts weather.

Overall it was so nice to finally get to meet some of the people that we've been talking to online, everyone was amazing and I miss them so much. Hope to see them all again soon. For now it's back to life and work. Booooo.
