Yeah, I mean it's only gotten more popular since Telephone, and I mean Telephone is a wonderful and nicely designed fursuit, character, and person. It's rather annoying when people follow suite now that shes out there and popular.
People do it only because then it will remind them of Telephone and they LOOOVVEEE Telephone.
What they don't realize though when they make a fursona almost exactly like that, they aren't looking pleasing at all.
They are taking away from her design and her unique properties.
I'm actually waiting for a copy Telephone to come along and be 10x as popular just because I know in the end it'll happen.

Another thing, is the markings.
This starting becoming more popular after Lamarr, it was always a bit up there because Tayerr but whatever its gotten more popular recently.
I find it hilarious though, because they dont even try.
Instead of a sadface ive seen a happy face, and the utterly sad and common NO.
Like are you even being serious, I've seen a fursuit that has all the same base characteristics of Tayerr and then NO stapled on the back.
People aren't even trying to steal characters features anymore they are just blatantly doing it.
The funny part is that nobody is doing anything about it.
It's just okay look there, a copy whatevs.

That's also another thing, It's my opinion that a fursona should have adleast one feature that you have
I mean I'm a deer because it's my spirit animal, It looks like me etc.
I don't even care what other people do with their fursonas though
