1) What was your FIRST video game console?
NES. Got it at the age of the three, a move I'm sure my parents came to regret.
2) Name a few games you played on said console.
Double Dragon, Super Mario Bros. 3, Ninja Gaiden.
3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?
6: PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, SNES, Genesis, Wii. To be fair, I've held onto most of these for a very long time.
4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?
Not as much as I used to be. Ryu and Cody.
5) Do you think Capcom is a FUCKING awesome company with kickass character designs?
Well, they DID come up with Dante, Godot, and Gene (God Hand)...
6) Here's the scenario.. You had some friends over and you all ate FRIED CHICKEN! After the meal you all decide to play some video games. As your friend reaches for a controller you notice his/her hands are very "greasy." Are you the type that would insist they wash their hands before pawing the controller, or is it no big deal?
At the very least, they should wipe their hands off.
7) What's your favorite RPG/Action RPG? I will allow a second and third fave if you insist.
Final Fantasy 3/6.
8) Do you prefer 2D games or 3D games?
While gameplay is more important than planes involved, I feel 2D has aged better.
9) Are you an SNK fan?
Hell yes. It kinda saddens me that most of the responses I've seen to this are along the lines of "I don't know what that is".
9) Are you good at DDR?
I used to be. Plateaued at 8 foot difficulty, then I discovered Pop'N Music and never looked back.
10) Who wants to kick that dog's ass from Duck Hunt?
Who doesn't?
11) Have you skipped out on important events in life because of video games?
I've missed a day of school every once in a while (I just HAD to finish Paper Mario), but nothing huge.
12) Do you listen to video game music?
Quite a lot. Mostly older stuff and Bemani albums.
13) Have you ever cosplayed a VG character?
Nope. Thought about it, but I'd probably chicken out.
14) Have you ever been in an arcade playing a fighting game, KICKING ASS, and then some 6 year old asian kid comes in and OWNS YOU??
Nope. Got my ass kicked by someone older, though.
15) Name three games you would love to see remakes of if it was done properly.

16) Mario or Sonic?
Mario. While Mario has always been pretty flat in terms of personality, and there's been plenty of missteps (the Mario Party series, for example), he's never gotten annoying or sunk as low as Sonic. I like Sonic too, but my god is he ever an example of "oh, how the mighty have fallen".
17) When a movie shows up in the theaters, let's use Spider-man as an example, are you likely to buy the GAME version?
Rent, maybe. Buy, no.
18) What is your LEAST favorite genre of video games? (ex. fighting, sports, shooters, etc.)
Either realistic sports or SRPGs. I'd rather watch sports than play them, and most SRPGs these days (Disgaea, for example) make me feel really stupid when I try to play them. I'm not one of those people who just rushes into battle, I just always feel like I'm not "getting" something.
19) Is there a game out there that you feel was unique and didn't get enough love? The best games are the most underrated ones.
God Hand. Oh, and Rocket Knight Adventures.
20) Have you ever verbally abused a game because you couldn't beat one of the levels and/or bosses?

21) Do you own any VG apparel?
I've got one of those cheesy "I Beat the Eight Master Robots!" shirts for Mega Man 2, but that's about it. Had promo/reserve shirts for DKC and Illusion of Gaia way back when, though.
22) What are your thoughts on the live-action Super Mario Bros movie?
When a video game has a plot that's hard to make a movie out of, DON'T MAKE A MOVIE OUT OF IT.
23) On that note, what did you think about the live-action Street Fighter movie?
I think it's unintentionally hilarious.
24) Who's hottest out of the KOF chicks?
Vanessa. Mai is seriously overrated, IMO.
25) Do you say "old-school" a lot when you're having a VG conversation with others?
Not really, no.
26) Have you ever lent someone a game and they returned it to you damaged?
Can't remember, but probably.
27) Do you own any imported games?
Yes. Several Pop'N Music and DDR games, as well as a PS1 Hokuto no Ken game.

29) In this scenario, let's pretend you're going to get a video game tattoo! What would you get and where? This can be simple or elaborate.
I'd try to get something that you could pass off as "awesome" to people who wouldn't know what the hell it's from, like Red Falcon from Contra 3. Probably on the arm.

Illusion of Gaia, for some reason. And Klonoa. Holy hell is that game's ending depressing.
