Death (not a rant or anything just my own thoughts)

My step dad's mom has pancreatic cancer and they believe she will not make it to Christmas this year. I understand that he is sad, i understand that someone close to him is dieing, but i dont understand death. You see death is not something that would phase me to much, i understand alot bar my own emotional state towards it.
Over the last few years i have had a small amount of apoplexy die on me (or we think, one were sure just went and buggered off) but each time i have not shed a tear, not felt anything towards it, i have had people tell me im emotionless due to this. I still feel stuff but nothing towards death.
i hope you all have a good year, and tell me what your thoughts are about death, oh and lease keep religion out of this.

I'm much the same way. I dont feel a whole lot when someone passes away. Just, that's it, it's done.

I was at my aunts and uncles in Germany when we go the phone call that one of my grandpa doesn't have long to live in hospital. I didn't cry but my mum did and I hugged her.

Something you can see coming is trivial. Its what you cant see coming that should worry you. Death itself can always be seen ahead of time thus it doesn't bother me at all. Its the event of dying that you cant see coming.
