So~!
Figured I would update you guys on my babies, because they
truly are my children and I love them they are sooo cute-
*ahem*
My baby Mika[can be seen here] is getting spayed this weekend.
I am both nervous and excited for her, just because I know she
will feel better once it is done. I highly trust the vet that is operating
on her, and the facility as well as the workers are phenomenal.
I first took Mika there on an emergency when NO ONE else would
take her. I was short on cash because it was two days before pay
and everyone wanted over 700 dollars before they would see her.
Finally I take her to this little vet clinic in a cozy log cabin themed
building, and they take her right in, no questions asked. They didn't
even want to talk about billing until they made sure Mika was okay.
If there was anywhere that housed angels who tended to animals, it
would be there.
Anywho, I took her out and got her a new lead and collar, tags, and
some yummy treats that are good on her teeth. She truly is the sweetest
lil pup. <3 I am so glad she found me.
Annnnnd...
On to the newest edition to the family~! This past weekend I finally
plucked up the courage to get the pet I have always wanted, a
hairless rat. I have owned a fancy rat before, but I didn't not expect
him to be so tiny, friendly, and cuddly. The same day I brought him
home he was completely content with curling up at my neck or in my
pocket, and he is not flighty at all. I am so happy I can have the joy
of him in my life.
He also looks like a little old man. x3
He is not technically a full hairless, meaning he has tufts of fur on
certain points of his body. His fur is a dusty grey, and between tufts
of that on his face and his little skin wrinkles, he looks like a little old
man, and it is the cutest goddamn thing. I cannot get over the cute.
Lastly! If you would like to suggest a name below, I would love some ideas.
NO:
-Japanese names
-stereotypical human names (jeff, steve)
-offensive names
-Try to keep it short and sweet. (I plan to train him, and the shorter, the better.)
YES:
-Harry Potter themed names
-Deity/Pagan themed names
-Names with one or two syllables

Hmmm names names, as a rat the first that pops into my head is Pettigrew, but he was an evil traitor so you might not want your snuggly rat called that :P Maybe Peeves? Or seeing as he looks like an old man, Filtch or Albus ;P
I am DEFINITELY now going to make an oc with a hairless rat as a pet. >3>
