Just as an update, Lou is doing much better. He's able to eat, walk, and play a DS. He was able to get to medical care fairly quickly after the stroke and, as a result, is doing very well. He may even be out of the hospital by Wednesday or Thursday. We'll keep our fingers crossed!

I've relayed all the well-wishes to him and he was grateful in that quiet, genial way of his.

For now, even though I tend to be pessimistic by natural way of course, I'm feeling like he's going to pull through.

 Wom-Bat has been one of my best friends for many years; I cannot say how relieved I am.
