Or what I sorta remember about MiDFur, and why they shouldn't have opened the bar so early.

So in other words it was pretty good :)

I got to meet a whole bunch of awesome people, whose names and faces I have pretty much forgotten at this point.

Unless I liked you that is you know who you are :)

Everyone I met.

The concertration of such awesome people in one spot must have done something to the earths axis.

I don't think it could have run much smoother and the whole committee deserves our thanks for making it happen.

I in my super generous nature volunteered to help set up on the first day.
Hmmmm after that it starts to get a bit blurry....

Things picked up after that. I helped to mind Amber's stall which was fun :) and accidently got two commissions which still has managed to confuse a few of us.

Meet and greet happend later that night, I was a tad cautious and shy to begin with and ended up listening to 2 and Uncle Kage for a while with a small group.

2nd Day.

I bought a suit jacket and a leather jacket for $20!! at a sale.

The Gala Ball was brilliant! mostly due to the rave and glowy fun things EVERYWHERE! definately a highlight.

3rd Day.

Bought a grey tailcoat and grey coat at the same sale :) $20!!

I wore my Steampunk outfit in full for the first time. Was brilliant fun! Being all dressed up costume style is way to much fun.

I watched the costume panel and at the end of that it was decided to have an impromtue fursuit walk through the city :D The reactions where priceless and was another highlight.

Later on was the no talent night presided over by Allen, dress as the Joker, the single best Joker outfit I have ever seen, and Zaen dressed up as some form of orc type creature which was awesome.

Towards the end of it Ben, baptised by Pete as Ben Raven, and I went off to grab some maccas for dinner. The looks I got on the way there and back were too much fun :D

Later on we went with Alan still dressed up as the Joker and Deezmo to grab some maccas. People moved out of the way of the way as we walked there :D Awesomely fun :D

We ended up hanging out in Pete and Fireys room drinking absinth. Brilliant night :)

4th Day.

Wore my Steampunk get up again, you really can get away with more things in a costume. Like posing. I spent a lot of time posing for photos :) I even got photographed for Jmag :D

Most of the day is blurry as like most other people I had a fair bit to drink. We started a little art jam which was terrific fun with a bunch of awesome people :) We all signed a couple of cars, then more drinking and flailing about and more awesome and drawing and hanging out with peoples and no sleep.

I can honestly say that for a journal that was mighty pathetic, especially for one of the best weekends of my freaking life!

Quick little tally for my own amusement.

New awesome friends: Many :D
Number of jackets bought: 4
Number of sketchs: Not enough.
Number of commissions accidently gotten: 2
Number of cigarette burns: 3.... One thanks to the co-operation of Dandy and Ben Raven which has left a nice little scarry thing on the top of my hand where they put out a smoke. And one of my palm where I put out a smoke. It's my own fault for not flinching...
Number of times whipped with a rubber snake: WAY TO MANY!!! NIPPLE WHIP!!

Anyway this seems like enough for now. I'll try and get some photos up soonish :)

Also I should be going to Adelaide for new years yay!! I get to fly.... my favourite thing to do....
