man sometimes i see rave culture furry pics with the sparkling kawaii eyes of an archaeologist finding relics from an ancient time

i dont like realising that the artists whose work i used to look up to is only good because ofthe veneer or polish of the lines and colours and texture overlays that they use, that they arent as good at actual solid drawing as i thought they were (but on the other hand those pictures must have had some value in the first place? why am i bothering to actually get better at drawing when i could just grab some nice colours & textures and learn how to make my art seem good??)
