Ello you wonderful fuzzy lot,

As some of you may have noticed i haven't been very active over the last 4 months due to life stuff so haven't had the time or motivation to get out and about recently.

(Long ass journal but meh been a while :P)

WORK!

But yeah, during December i had a pretty crappy shift one night at work where a member of staff started a fight with me over something pointless so i was like fook this off im gone. Luckily at this time a mate of mine had collared a manager job at a new Subway store that was opening and basically got a job there within about 5 mins after ringing him lol Tis always about who you know.
But yeah ive been working here for the last 3 months since it opened so i started on like 70 hour weeks whilst we were opening and training staff as i basically started at supervisor there which was a perk but hours have now finally settled back down to normal full time stuff. But yeah as of like 2 weeks ago my mate stepped down from manager position and i revived a call from the store owner offering the store manager position to me 0.0 Was pretty surprising but i guess im good at what i do and 7 years of catering experience helps i guess. I did turn this position down thou due to my future plans and explained it to him which he was happy i did rather than waste his time so has said he will honour me any position on my C.V up to assistant manager <3 so im pretty happy with that.

GYM

So as those who have met me know i am pretty much a human stick. Because of this one of my mates/the guy who im currently working with a Subway and got me the job always jokes around about it and says i need to bulk up. Finally he has convinced me to give it a go which has become harder than expected. Because im putting on muscle weight and not fat weight im having to eat healthy food but loads of it as well as keeping on top of gym time and such. Im hoping over the next 6 months to put on about 1-2st which would be a good weight for my hight so yeah as far as it goes im enjoying it having a plan and scheduled but eating so much is becoming troublesome. So yeah hoping to be a bit bigger for CF WOOP!

FUTURE PLANS!

So yeah, as some of you may know i previously worked as an Animal keeper for 2 years in a local collection round here which i loved. Never during that job did i ever feel like 'Ugh gtg work sigh' even when it was 7am and -14' outside. The job was hard but so rewarding. Since my contract ended when it came under new management and they got rid of 90% of the staff there so they could bring in there own i have wanted to go back into it but i have found it super hard.
This is mainly because everyone wants a degree. So even thou i did the job paid for 2 years this means nothing compared to a degree, even thou the person who took my position had a degree and no experience and had 2 welfare incidents in the first 2 months which proves its not all about degrees. But yeah even with this still everywhere wants a Degree so ive been forced to finally give in and go along with it.
This has been tricky thou as i have been out of education for like 5 years and don't have the best of qualification.... So out of the 5 places i applied for 3 said no 1 invited me in for an interview which the interviewer asked me some questions and after said that "I was the most honest down to earth person she had interviewed who gave both intelligent & ethically balanced answers and she could tell that had worked with animals and had a true passion for it because of them" Which made me feel good but once again was let down due to grades.....

Finally was left with 1 place left who finally after i started giving up hope rang me up and talked ot me about it and my grades and why its taken me so long to decide to go uni and about my past and stuff and working with animals and finally after 2 weeks i got a call offering me a place at UWE which will actually be taught as Weston collage rather than Bristol Uni but meh im just happy to be going somewhere and getting on with my animal career.

So yeah.... im stressing the fook out as i haven't studied in like 5+ years and i feel like im going to fail and not understand stuff and fail the course before its even started 0.0 I've ordered some books and stuff to start refreshing myself on a few things to get ready but im still worried but oh well guess that's just how i am.....

So that's what's been going on in life for the last 5 months and its been pretty mad. Haven't suited or been any meets or really talked to anyone since LFM winter party so im hoping now its all getting under control i can start going to meets and seeing everyone again as i miss you all.

Also on a side note i don't think any of this would have been possible for me without Mercury there in my life to help motivate me and convince me to get back into keeping. I really do owe her as i probably would have just ended up settling unto some job i hated without her being there for me :) *Getting all mushy*

So yeah loads of stuff not alot of time and hopefully ill be back soon.
