i don't think it'd hurt to email them and send them a picture of what you currently have and ask if they have the same dye lot or when they're getting a new dye lot in. that way you're not wasting money.

DF Grey is one of the hardest furs to color match. :( It varies SO MUCH from one dye lot to the next, that pretty much unless you order it at the same time, it's trial and error.

The left and middle tails were both made from DF Grey ordered maybe a month or two apart, but they may as well be different furs completely! I've found at least 3 distinct variations of it: a very dark grey with an almost metallic look, a medium-dark grey which I consider the 'standard', and then the lightest grey seen above which I consider more 'silver' than 'grey'.

Ahh ya the fur I was looking for looks like the middle one but the one I received turned out like the left one.

Is the colour you got darker or lighter? Now I may not work with fur but i do work a lot with fabric when I make cosplay. I can recommend using an airbrush maybe on your lighter fur. Even some drybrush could help as well until you the the colour you like.

you could always air brush the fur yourself. but a good air brushing kit can run you 200+dollars

I have one, but the fur is darker and airbursh work fades. It would be better to just buy another yard.
