So I was working till closing last night and two guys came in, one with an e-cigarette, and one with a semi-thick portrait beard around his head. They notice me and randomly ask me how I would go about preparing a duck. So I'm thinking, "That's a fair question, this is a supermarket after all." I ask him what kind of duck it is and he says its a Mallard; fresh off the road. I narrow my eyes a bit and ask him to repeat what he just said, hoping that he's not possibly asking me what I think he is. He says that it is roadkill that's pretty fresh and should be good to eat. I somehow manage to keep a straight face and look this guy right in the eye before saying, "Sir, I would go ahead and cook the living hell out of this bird. Use all the spices you can, all of them." He smiled and thanked me for the advice before walking away. I was left with the profound sensation that I had met two of Duck Dynasty's fan base. For the love of the gods people; DON'T EAT ROADKILL.
