I'm starting to get burnt out on doing funerals every day. I think its actually eating away at me. Tomorrow will put me close to 270 funerals since November of 2012. I'm head calling tomorrow which means I'll be giving the commands for the volley's to be fired. Its an honorable job, but omg is it stressful. If I'm not 100% immaculate I get ridiculed by the entire command. I can't wait to get out to the actual navy to do my real job.
constant and unnecessary deaths.
...
Ugh..*Taps his own forehead repeatedly.*
shit...
Mine was sleep. (Thank god...he didn't "suffer", and I'm thankful for that.)
Not saying "anyone" should suffer, but jeez...
And old age is, well, "common". So, at least it wasn't something
war related.
Yea, like
"Try and hang in there. "
Also, why the hell would your fellow Navymen "joke" on
your performance?
No need for that garbage. Sheesh. Not everyone can "work
hard".
Also, That's just how things are when you are on the ceremony guard.
As for dealing with death all day, I am surprised you haven't become numb to it yet. I know I would have. After experiencing enough tragedy and people crying, I probably would have become desensitized to it.
