I criticized the way the artist does to get money: YCH all the time! ending each time at over mega super price!
and said he could take things like wingits, letting people with lower income to get something and not only fanboys

Oh dear I remember a time I made a comment about a pricing that was super high but then didn't allow you to have much of any say about the end result then I was attacked and generally hated by 30 people at once. That really put me off of FA a while and anymore I hate commenting on FA though I try because unless it's praise without genuine opinion then it can back lash horribly. All I can really say is I know that feel bro. Can't let it bother you FA can be a little AHHHH sometimes and it does help to take a break from it once in a while. Wish I could say something more useful but eh not much I can say.

The first person to criticize my work is usually my girlfriend. I've noticed my art has improved a lot in terms of anatomy since she started pointing things out, she might not be an artist but she has an eye for detail, I welcome criticism always in my work, because if it is something I can quickly correct, I will, along with take notes in my brain one a better method to do something.

well it's not the art I criticized, it's the way to do. Shortly, I told that was unfair

I had someone block me for giving them a legitimate artistic critique of one of their more serious works(I've actually be employed as an art critic for a paper for a while). Their response was as irrational as the piece :P

let them do that, they are simply not mature enough to handle constructive critique. They will learn sooner or later.

See i always love critical input ( i dont get enough)
.Depending on the wording may determine how the artist will feel about said critique . if it is constructive or deconstructive is always a huge deal.
if your going to bash on art work then , that's just wrong.(not saying you did)
how ever i will not block somebody. i will simply become un- respondent or say "thank you for your input. i'll work harder next time to improve on the subjected mistake."
My biggest thing is. If you plan to critique someone.

Honesty is good but watch how its worded . You can upset recipient. How the other party handles it is all on them.

I don't know. I agree though, I've seen quite a few starting artists ask for critique here and on DA; then when they hear something they don't like... they start arguing it.

Honestly, if I hear something I disagree with, and I've asked for input, all I say is "Thanks! I'll keep that in mind." It's polite, non committal, and of course I'm the one who asked for input.
