I wouldn't be concerned about the glue just because if you're wearing the costume its going to be warm, which contradicts the cold.

Anything that you can wash in a machine, bodysuit/ hands will be find in the snow no problem. Things that have stuffing will likely be fine (tails) as long as they aren't sitting in the snow and soaking a LOT of water in.
Stuff made of foam are the more worrisome, feet and heads. The feet are the most concerning since they are going to be right in the snow at all times soaking in the water. Whats concerning is after wear if the water isn't all soaked out within a day or so it could start growing mold. Heads aren't going to be soaking it up so much just cause its going to be what falls on it, and you'll be moving it around so it shouldn't pile up. As long as you don't have airbrushing on the head (or anywhere in general) it'll be like getting it lightly wet for a bit of cleaning.
So if you were to replace your feet with snow boots you would most likely be perfectly fine. I mean there are videos all over youtube of suiters out playing in the snow. Its not an uncommon thing, and suits are way more awesome than jackets.

Thats only the technical stuff. It is your gathering so ultimately up to you on decisions. If you think safety is an issue then that is perfect enough reason to call suiting off.

Yeah I probably should have had us go suiting anyway (it ended up not being as much snow as they said) but Empire was not built well and I do worry a lot about the type of hot glue used on her as I've heard the some glues let go in the cold.
(Empires head is completely glued no stitching whatsoever)

I would normally be all for it but I just don't trust Empire to not have weather issues :/ I'm constantly afraid she'll break due to not being made well.

Ahhh, well if all the seams on the head are glued then I can see your concern. Thats unfortunate.
How long have you had that suit?

well it will be a year on the 16th actually :) and yeah she's not made too well, it's one of her few flaws :/

Ok, so 1 yr isn't to long. In my experience its usually around the 2yr mark where people start going "Eh, its been a good run. Time to stop worrying about the suit and go all out till it breaks."

Yeah I'll be babying her for a long time I think XD eventually my lil sis will inherit her as her first suit so I want her to last a while :)

Hahaha Thanks! She seems really excited but I don't want her to get into stuff until I'm sure she's going to stick with it XD she's at the stage where she really loves something for a while and then only kinda still likes it after.

only thing you'd really have to worry about if its snowing is the salt they put down on the sidewalks and roads. Unless it's the super slushy wet snow that is coming down it really shouldn't hurt your suit. Heck there are people who have jumped into pools and lakes with their suits on. THey all survived. It might take some extra effort to dry them out if they do get a bit more wet then usual. But put your suit on a couple of box fans and it will dry them out quite well. Yah a good brushing after will help. But if i can make it i'll still wear AHzlon.

Yeah but Empire's head is completely glued together even the stripe of blue fur is glued to the black :/ I've heard not good things about certain glues in cold weather and I'd rather not test it at a big event O.o

I probably should have just postponed suiting until I was sure the weather would be ok but there really wasn't a good place to suit up or de-suit :/ even going to our cars would have been quite a walk.
