For me it takes me about an hour to do lineart (mostly cleaned up) and maybe another hour to do colors, I'm guessing. It takes me around 6 hours to do full color and shade. So, maybe a few days for sketches and maybe a few weeks for more detailed stuff, depending on how many pieces you have to do and depending on your life circumstances (calm, hectic, are you working or are you sitting at home, house chores, eat, hygiene, sleep, etc)

Sketches like those, barring a queue I'd expect within a day or two. Painting would probably be a week or two (again ignoring any potential queue), although that's harder for me to judge.

For a sketch, within a week. In general, I understand things come up, but I prefer to get updates at least once per week when I have a commission I've paid up front for and am waiting on. This isn't anything on you, don't think I've commissioned you yet, but just in general ... if its a longer commission that will take months, once per month is okay, but so long as there are occasional "Still working on it" messages. Some artists I really like unfortunately go months between answering my messages when my messages basically amount to how things are going, which frustrates me. :/

I agree with what's already been said, about a week for a sketch and 1-3 weeks for a bigger piece. I commissioned you for a sketch a while ago though and I remember the turnaround being fairly quick

The turnaround was faster than expected. I personally think that the idea of when something is "due" or expected to be delivered actually harms the result; I'd rather you—or anyone—be comfortable to a point where, if you have the free time and just don't really feel like approaching the commissioned subject matter, there should be no obligation to.

I would like to agree with IronCrux here, since I have experienced what they are talking about. When I know something is due or has a certain timeframe, my work actually ends up looking terrible. I actually work faster and better if I don't set a timeframe. It's almost ironic how it works for me.
