My favorite is gengar. He is suppose to be this big scary ghost pokemon that can eat your soul (or something like that) yet on the show all he wanted to do was play around. Then when I finally got my own in soul silver mine had a very gentle and sweet nature and only gave me yellow flowers when ever he walked behind me.

I just always imagined him sitting in a field picking these flowers just to shower me in them which I found so ironic in comparison to what the pokedex would say.

He is just so cute to me

I adore Luxray!! Like, their heads are so fluffy and you can run your fingers through it only to get small little shocks ahaha. They look intimidating but I'd like to think they're big sweethearts who probably go crazy over toy Rattata and catnip. And take 10+ hour naps like real life lions. My friend brought up they can use their star-like tail to strike into enemies/prey and I thought that's pretty neat thing as well!

My Luxray, Starstruck, carried my town through Pokemon Pearl (accidentally killing Palkia oops) and it just made me adore Luxrays even more. They're super cool and I'm so glad I got a Shinx in Pokemon X! Be able to evolve it into a Luxray and give it love in Pokemon Amie uvu

I always have trouble picking my number one favorite, so here's a few of my favorites. *pulls out pokedex* Charmander, Charizard, Pikachu, Growlithe, Arcanine, Eevee, Dragonite, Mew, Cyndaquil, Pichu, Umbreon, Zangoose, and Fennekin.

Gengar! I don't really know why he's my favorite, i just always remember thinking he was the coolest thing ever as a kid. Something to do with a tiny mischevious ghost, I guess.

I was a hoennbabby so grovyle used to be my favorite (lugia and dragonair too though). now it keeps changing and I can usually appreciate the appeal of any given pokemon, but holy shit hawlucha is some kind of pokemon jesus

Definitely, absolutely Ninetales! It's solemn, but at the same time I can't help but wish to bury myself between those warm tails. It controls fire and is a deeply spiritual pokemon. And I love kitsunes. So it's like they took every thing I love and made my ideal pokemon!

The second close is Zoroark. I have a thing for fluffy manes and long hair, plus it's a dark type. And in its movie is a badass. I empathized with it.

I can continue with Alakazam and Absol.

My favorite pokemon is and always has been Charizard. It just has a giant cuddly look to it, and I remember as a kid watching the first pokemon movie and felt so bad when Charizard got it's head stuck in the pipe and started crying. I cried with Charizard that first time I saw it.

Although I also really like Suicune, Rapidash, Pidgeot and Ninetails

I love the hoenn pokemon Absol and Mightyena, they're the reason I love dark types so much

Raichu and Steelix are my favorites, though there are a lot of others that I like for aesthetic purposes. Can't really say why I like Raichu. Just always have. She's cute and a great electric Pokemon. Steelix is just awesome looking, and has lots of defenses that make her easy to use in battle. Oh, I also love Joltik. Suuuuper cute, and her half-bug type makes her immune to most electrical weaknesses! Not as strong as Raichu, though, but to be expected since she's not full electric.

I honestly always loved Eeveelutions the best...

Mightyena, actually lolz When I was a kid everyone was like "Charizard!" or "Lugia!" or even "Mew!" Cuz they were either really badass or really adorable...and I'm just sitting there like "I like Mightyena..." and they'd turn to me and be like "Seriously? I can get a Poochyena at like the fragging start of the game. That's kinda lame." And I just sat there like "D: BUT MIGHTYENA IS PRETTY AND POOCHYENA'S CUTE AND THEY GET REALLY STRONG IF YOU TRAIN THEM RIGHT AND-" then they'd start walking away "I LIED IT'S UMBREON DON'T LEAVE MEEEE" XDDD

Dragonite is a cute little dragon, some art of them is so nice.

My favorite would have to be zangoose because of all the japanese art I see on Zangoose day and just how fat and fluffy they are..

Top favs are Arcanine, Mew, female Meowstic, and Banette <3 I also have a soft spot for Sceptile and Swampert :3

Cofagrigus! Love my spooky baby with her big ghost hands. I'm a big ghost Pokemon buff, though, so most ghosts are in my top favorites list!

A few years ago my Arcanine, Jet, whom I treasured and adored, suddenly vanished off my heartgold game due to some kind of glitch. :c
I still miss him so much. He was the sassiest most adorable thing in my mind.

My favourite pokemon is Blaziken, pls, that leggs... that pose... I really love it *^* And the second one is Gardevoir ^^ She reminds me a model or something like that x3 But it's so pretty *^* I fall in love with Ralts but when she evolve into Gardevoir I was like OMFG I love you x3

There's so many pokemon it's always hard to choose favorites. One of mine was this male Heracross I had in soulsilver. He'd always stare at me grinning, then hug me. I also have a soft spot for rattata and raticate because when I was little I thought the blue sprite for rattata on your party someone giving a thumbs up and that always amused me. Other than that I really like using safari pokemon for my main team. Ghost Punching Kangaskhan, Surfing Tauros, Flying Dodrio, etc. Adds a certain kinda of charm with my play throughs and I get really attached to them.
