My parents-in-law were nice enough to pay for a tow truck to bring the car back here and it seems like there isn't really any damage to it. Only my crappy old GPS was stolen, apparently, so that's cool too. They also said that they were happy to put the car on *their* insurance and pay for it, that way we wouldn't have to worry about it so much. All my mother-in-law asked for in return was a drawing, which I thought was really sweet.

So it looks like things worked out which makes me kind of ridiculously happy and in a good mood!
