Major pet peeve

Why is it that on neither of my fursonas, nobody ever gets the face right?
When I was an orca, yeah, I get it. Cetaceans are confusing; the anatomy is off the beaten path, and they're both pointier than you might suspect, and rounder at the same time.
But as a hippogriff, the people who've screwed up my beak outnumber the people who've drawn it correctly. I'm basically a parrot. It's not that hard. You have a big most-of-a-semicircle on top, then a smaller quarter-circle on the bottom. There's a plateau on the lower surface of the top beak as it curves up, near the front, and that's where the two parts meet.
There's no big flat portion on top; it's not rectangular. It's not triangular, either. I'm not a hawk. The beak isn't a meat cutter; it's a log splitter. http://www.fornobravo.com/forum/att.....r-cimg4755.jpg One side is sharp, the other side is flat. Put something hard between the two, you split it open. It's short, sturdy, and efficient.

I've updated my refsheet, so hopefully that will clear this business up.

On the flipside, when you get an artist who actually bothers, you hold onto them like there's no tomorrow, haha.
