FWA here I come/questions + other stuff

Yesterday was a slightly lousy day. Had to put dog to sleep. Really only owned her for 3 years my brother wanted to get rid of her because where he was moving to he could not take the dog. She was already old so I know that we did the best we could and added a few years onto her life. My dad grew more attached to her then I did so its a bit sad to see him bummed out. Been trying to just stay positive about that stuff.
A few days before that my friends offered me a room at FWA and I sat and thought about it for a long while. I have always been a little insecure and slightly shy so never thought of going to one. But after thinking about it for a while I just said to my self "if I don't do it now when will I ever go." so I decided to take them up on the offer and got bus tickets. Super excited to see some friends there and maybe make some new ones.
For some one going to a con for the first time does any one have any tips for me or fun things to do at them and such. Also is it normal for me to feel nervous or anxious even. I really have not traveled much on my own so I think it will be a fun experience and hopefully I will have a good time.

As for the con stuff, its rather normal to feel nervous. And it depends on what you want to do. If you are planning on getting con stuff, I'd recommend bringing a fold to hold your things and a bag to carry around stuffs.
My suggestion for you would be. If you feel lonely dont wander. Fjnd a game room or something and jump in a game to play with people. I love board games ive met so many amazkng people through games at cons xD its also good to just be polite and helpful to staff and artists xD. Ive met some awesome people tby just beig helpful and nice!
