Made up my mind wednesday before the con to go to this one! But glad I did! It's nice to have a good size fur con only an hour away finally! All of the random convos I got into with fellow hallway dwellers seemed like there were a lot of northern VA furs. Too much to hope this will spark some local NoVA community action? Ah well.
Actually spent a good amount of time in suit. Usually hanging out with Zalno and his crazy cast of characters. And I was the only lucario! That never happens :P
They'll need a bigger con space next year. 700+ attendees and a main events room that could only seat like 250 didn't work too well. Especially if you're ears are 2 feet high and you don't wanna be a jerk to everyone behind you XD I just hope wherever they move to next year is also conveniently close to a Wegmans :D

Getting a bigger con space shouldn't be a huge problem. Ive gone to Balticon at Hunt Valley several times, and that's a 2,500-3,000 person con, which uses the entire hotel(including the area where the Rainbow Girls were). The Hotel definitely has space to grow.

Heh, well that's good. But is it a real fur con if the hotel isn't double booked with another group for us to weird out? :P
