Regarding Commissions and Skype

Pretty soon I'm going to either be closing my commissions down or drastically raising prices. As nice as it is to get a commission from time to time, I really do have to admit that I don't like doing them. When drawing becomes work I dread having to do it and commissions put that exact stress on me.
Not to mention that if I'm working on a full color commission that takes roughly 7hrs or more to work on, I'm making roughly $3.50/hr or less, which is absolutely absurd.
So I'll either stop and occasionally open up slots or just give my prices a boost (maybe give a base price and then charge by the hour?).
Other than that, I'd like to please ask that people stop telling me to give them my skype name. I'm sorry, but I really don't like to give it out nor do I want to be speaking to people from here, there. I'm not comfortable enough to just add random people unless it's on my terms and I ask first.
If you really want to speak with me you can do so here. I try to remember to check here every day and respond to messages within a decent amount of time.
Thanks guys

im sorry you are getting worked so hard its rough out there you know? and tis not fair i see a lot of talented artists get really screwed ono here because people wanna pay so littel and demand so much for updates, i hope things get better for you, i really do
I see this whole price thing happening other places too. People get so offended when an artist's prices are "too high" and will then complain that they can't afford to commission them.
Like, if you can't afford something, say a a new videogame, you wouldn't yell at the sales associate. You'd save up for the game (if you really wanted it) and buy it when you had the money. And commissioning an artist is the same thing, but people don't seem to think that way.
