I am a horrible friend.
I am willing to call 911 if you self-harm and you cant stop bleeding.
I will tell your parents that you told me you need help, even if you never forgive me.
I will suggest professional help over and over, even if all you do is yell at me.
I will do what is right, even if you never speak to me again.
A friends life means more to me than their approval. They can hate me forever, never forgive me, and never speak to me again. So long as you are alive, receiving help and getting the love and care you need, and are healthy, then I am happy.
So, I am a horrible friend. I just care a bit too much about your safety.

What caused you in saying that you are horrible? You aren't horrible to me, and if you are able to do these things nobody will not like you as a friend.

Once upon a time, I had a girls first and last name, and she threatened self harm, I had a lot of trouble finding her school just based on that, but once I did I reached out to the school itself, and was able to get a flag thrown up. The girl has grown now into a beautiful woman because she didn't die in that time frame. - The moral of the story is, if they need help then you should help them, no matter what it costs on a personal level.
