I decided to look up what my costs would be if I went to anthrocon, just to see. I mean, after all, the largest furry convention in the United States is very, very tempting.
The lowest possible cost for a plane ticket (and this is if I bought it now, 3 months ahead of time) was around $450. The average was $480.
Not to mention a couple hundred for the hotel, and another couple hundred for both food and random merch.
I'm sorry but I don't have $1000 dollars to spend on one weekend, even if it's across the county. Going one state over for BLFC is expensive enough.
But I really wish I could :(
