For those of you who may be wondering.

I quit my job.
...No seriously. I did. But I quit it to go on to a better one. So, yeah. That happened. Wheee.
I've had a couple of people ask me about a hobby I have. So I figure, what the hell. Let's get this out there.
I "race" with the National Auto Sports Association, as well as the Clemson Sports Car Club. The former more so than the latter mostly because of stuff popping up prohibiting participation with the CSCC.
Mostly with NASA I work as a Corner Flagger on track. I don't yet have a car I'm comfortable running on track. I've driven an e30 in the HPDE events before, so I have track experience. But very little. I want to race one of my Datty's... But they're both kinda one of a kind. I'd kill myself if I were to wreck one. So I'm looking for a Miata or something.
Anyway, yeah. I do actually drive on real race-tracks on occasion. I won't say race until I get my Comp license. I hope to run in the Spec Miata series. Mostly just because those bastards race rough, and it's really down to skill since lap-times are usually within a few tenths of a second from each other.
