I was indirectly tagged for this. I might as well do it, though.
1) What was your FIRST video game console?
It was one of the consoles with a couple of paddles on it, that only played three variations of Pong. The Atari 2600 came later.
2) Name a few games you played on said console.
Pong. More Pong. Single player Pong.
3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?
Right now? Two. PS2 and Gamecube.
4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?
I liked it, but wasn't nuts for it. Used mostly Chun-Li.
5) Do you think Capcom is a FUCKING awesome company with great character design?
They're not bad, but not outstanding.
6) Here's the scenario.. You had some friends over and you all ate FRIED CHICKEN! After the meal you all decide to play some video games. As your friend reaches for a controller you notice his/her hands are very "greasy." Are you the type that would insist they wash their hands before pawing the controller, or is it no big deal?
I'd ask them to wash their hands first. I don't like replacing controllers. Nor do I want to find my cat licking my controllers once we're done playing.
7) What's your favorite RPG/Action RPG? I will allow a second and third fave if you insist.
Chrono Trigger. Breath of Fire 3. Castlevania: SotN. But several Final Fantasy games were in close running for this.
8) Do you prefer 2D games or 3D games?
Depends on the game, but if it's a 3D version of a 2D game, I usually hate it.
9) Are you an SNK fan?
Nope.
9) Are you good at DDR?
Not at all. Only tried it once.
10) Who wants to kick that dog's ass from Duck Hunt?
Everyone. Why isn't there furry art of that dog or an anthro version of that dog getting the treatment it deserves?
11) Have you skipped out on important events in life because of video games?
No. A few unimportant events maybe, but nothing important. At least, not important to me.
12) Do you listen to video game music?
Yes. Alot, in fact.
13) Have you ever cosplayed a VG character?
Nope.
14) Have you ever been in an arcade playing a fighting game, KICKING ASS, and then some 6 year old asian kid comes in and OWNS YOU??
Any kid can kick my ass on those, usually. Not only do I tend to suck against a human opponent, but I feel bad if I beat a kid, so I don't try as hard.
15) Name three games you would love to see remakes of if it was done properly.
Final Fantasy 7. Most of the other games I can think of have had remakes and such done, so I might have to let it go at one.
16) Mario or Sonic?
Mario.
17) When a movie shows up in the theaters, let's use Spider-man as an example, are you likely to buy the GAME version?
Nope. Most of the time, the game and movie have little to do with each other, so enjoying one doesn't mean I'll enjoy the other.
18) What is your LEAST favorite genre of video games? (ex. fighting, sports, shooters, etc.)
Sports.
19) Is there a game out there that you feel was unique and didn't get enough love?
American McGee's (sp?) Alice. It was here, it was big news for a bit, then everyone forgot about it. And while I suck at FPS games and could never finish it, I have to wonder why nobody took the ideas there and ran with them.
20) Have you ever verbally abused a game because you couldn't beat one of the levels and/or bosses?
Only a little. It's far more common for me to just express frustration in general without aiming it at the game itself.
21) Do you own any VG apparel?
Nope.
22) What are your thoughts on the live-action Super Mario Bros movie?
I think I'm glad I've never seen it, just short clips.
23) On that note, what did you think about the live-action Street Fighter movie?
Sad and bad, but in a funny way.
24) Who's hottest out of the KOF chicks?
I can't recall any of them, off the top of my head.
25) Do you say "old-school" a lot when you're having a VG conversation with others?
Very very rarely. My "old-school" is usually older than theirs.
26) Have you ever lent someone a game and they returned it to you damaged?
Nope. Not many I'd lend my games to, and they know how to care for them. The one time there was a problem, they replaced the game.
27) Do you own any imported games?
Nope.
28) Are you ready for this meme to be over, or could you keep going?
I have no life, it can keep going.
29) In this scenario, let's pretend you're going to get a video game tattoo! What would you get and where? This can be simple or elaborate.

30) Have you ever cried after you beat a game? If so why?
After I beat a game? No, not really, though I found the ending of Secret of Mana to be sad. But I'm usually in a good mood at the end of a game. Now, I did cry during FF7. And no, not when Aeris died. I cried at the scene where Red XIII finds out the truth about his father. And then, the stone remains of his father start to cry, and all Red can do is howl in sorrow. That still gets to me.
