Well, things are a bit tense, but this hardly a prelude to war at this point. It would take an awful lot for the United States to be willing to declare war on Russia. Neither the United States or Russia wants to launch their nukes, because they know they'd be killing themselves in the process. The joys of mutually assured destruction.
