We were at Meijer today and I overheard the funniest thing ever.

Me looking at the trading cards when I overhear this behind me.

Guy: "Is that Godzilla?!?!!??!?" Seeing the new Godzilla toys from the upcoming American film.

Me: "Uh yeah and that other thing is supposed to be Mothra.

Guy: "Mothra?!?!?! Looks more like a techno bat"

Guy playing with another of the toys.

Guy: "Why is he so fat?!?!? He's like huge and his head is small....*he plays with the toy that makes 'zilla move and shake* "Look he's doing the truffle shuffle!"

At that point we lost it and couldn't quit laughing, we've been joking about it since.

Guy as he walks away with his son. "I hope they don't end up ruining any of your childhood icons...but then again your generation hasn't came up with anything original yet."

Kid: "What about Star Wars?"

Guy: "Uh let's talk about that ok"
