Just curious...(fursuit related question)

Rather fursuit making related question...
Are there any simplified ways of successfully making a DTD?
Probably should've asked it before I made one over the weekend. But yeah...I find that no matter what I do, the process usually leaves me feeling a little ill. Light headed, over heated, etc. This time around it was a bit better 'cause I tried something a little different. Did the legs first, cut up the sides a bit then sat and rested. Did one side of the torso and arms, cut the sides, sat and rested. Did the other side and finished it. Not sure if cutting it like that and sitting will keep it in a good shape. Parts of it are kinda bunched up but yeah...I wouldn't have gotten through the whole thing without possibly passing out. I've made sure there's water, the air conditioning/fans are on, but still the actual issue is making the DTD itself.
Maybe I just have to learn how to make body suits off of measurements or a pattern. The problem then is with doing body padding. Would not know how to add body padding without a DTD...

FA+

Step two-invite all your friends over for a party/watch movies/whatever excuse you can make up
Step three-whatever you need to do to convince them that covering you in duct tape will be fun.
Step 4-follow a good tutorial. If you don't have a good tutorial one will be provided for you.
Pro-tip- Have one person just rip 4 inch squares of tape and stick them to the side of a table. Or anything. So people can grab them quickly.
Pro-tip2- If you have 4-5 people you will get the dummy done in 10-15 minutes and everyone can move on with their lives. Make sure to do multiple layers of duct tape.
Next time...getting about 4-5 more people to show up. ^^;
If you absolutely can only get an extra one or two people to help you, help cut out the tape bits before you start getting taped up. It will save a lot of time! You can start helping by taping your legs/stomach/chest until you can't reach things anymore. Have one extra person helping you tape and one person keeping the tape strips stocked to keep speed up, helping tape when they can.
