Okay, so I plan on attending Anthrocon this year, and that's great and all! Except for a few things.

- This will be my FIRST ever furry convention, so I'm new to all of this.
- What's the best ways to manage money/spending at a convention? (i.e. food, drinks, hotel room, roommates, dealer's den, etc.)

As for related questions such as, 'What do I do since it's my first con? What do I need to follow? What do I need to know?' and things like that, feel free to give advice on those kinds of questions. But, I am planning to attend the "Your First Furry Con" panel once I get there. I'm sure I'll get lots of information from that alone; but still, send me advice if you feel like you need to. (BEFORE you start: I already know the 6-2-1 rule. Kay, thx)

So, those are my biggest concerns.

Just to clarify, in regards to the second question, I am NOT in any way asking for money or donations of any sort. I'm asking in terms of spending the income I already have, on what I need/what I don't need/what to watch out for.

Also to clarify, here are the things I have already worked out, before anyone asks:
- I have a way to get there
- I am not staying at the Westin
- I have one person that I agreed to room with (I know them, so they aren't a stranger)
- I already have a hotel in mind
- I will be 18 before the con
- I have an I.D.
- I have not registered yet but I plan to pre-register online ASAP.

Is there anything I'm missing?

And, if anyone at all could help me out, with any of these things, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've never done this before so I'm quite a newbie at this.
