No deaths today, thank the mons. True to my word, I went to beat the violet city gym. But it was closed. So I went to train some at this place called the sprout tower. It was weird. The building vibrated every 3 seconds and there was this creepy swaying pillar... anyway, I had nothing to be afraid of. I found another Ratatta, just like Jerry. The similarity is so striking that I have named it BornAgain. I defeated the Sprout Tower, and then went right into defeating the gym. I even got Shell to evolve into a Butterfree, despite my fears! It was awesome. So much so that I might not go back to New Bark Town just yet...

I got a call from Professor Elm. He said he wanted me to raise the egg I got for him a couple days ago. It was weird. And strangely appetizing. But I gave Rock a break form all his hard work at the gym and put him in the PC to make room for the egg. Then I traveled south from Violet City.

Not much happened along the way except for this one guy, he wanted to sell me a slowpoketail. After being denied my egg treat I really wanted to try it out. But it cost $1,000,000! That's crazy. Sadly, stomach grumbling, I declined. I traveled through union cave and caught a Zubat names Xros. Then on route 33 I caught another Zubat named Xris. I made it to Azalea Town unscathed. This adventure is actually pretty fun...
