ctrl-S is your friend, turn it into a habit

I'm not good with the computers. Except that I am and I should know better and hush you.

His point is rigth thougth. You should make it to a habbit to use the 'save' function once in a while. maybe like every 10 or 15 minutes. ctrl + s is the keyboard shortcut for it, but the main point is to save regulary.

I know, I was joking. I rather really should know better since this has happened before. Didn't do it before due to my old computer taking a quarter hour to save each time. Now, with a computer that can start and close PS in a matter of seconds, there's no excuse and I brought this on myself for not changing my habits.

I'm...not very good at joking.

Some of the newer CS versions apparently have incremental auto-saves n' all, I hear!

I'm using CS 5.1. Confined to it, you could say.

surprised someone hasn't made a little mini app that you can switch on and off to save automatically every 5 minutes or so.....Speaking of. I need to figure out more little bits of coding so I can do this myself. Soo many horror stories of others and myself losing progress

Why are we all this bad at something we should be doing.

because when we are feeling the flow as we work we forget these machines and pieces of software can go bonkers and crash randomly. Hell sometimes even saving crashes the program. So either way it's messed up <.<

Each time it's a reminder to save your work, but it still is rather unfortunate that it does happen.

Still, even with all the crashes you've come quite the way since you first started out here. There's been a general improvement across the board in terms of your art, coloring, and everything else. * 3*)
