The egg hatched shortly after I gave my last journal. Tasty the togepi emerged at lv 1, and to my surprise knew how to use extrasensory. It was creepy. Professor elm called me right after he finished hatching and seemed to know already. That's weird, right? Anyway, I had to go all the way back to new bark town to show him. I said hi to mom and stuff, but I didn't stay long. A day later and I'm back in azaelea town. Quick, huh? Well, it's a wonder how far you can get with leveled pokemon...

I switched pokemon around in the pc. Took out the two zubat. They're proving difficult to train... Oh, and did I mention I talked to kurt, the poke ball maker? He seemed really fumed. I think it had something to do with the slowpokes at slowpoke well... I'm all for "save to pokemon", but I feel the slowpoke are being used for a good cause. To make tasty slowpoketails. I still never got to try one of those... There are these guys in cool black suits all around town. One's at the well and another is at the gym. He won't let me in, so I guess I have to wait before I get my next badge. Sigh. Slowpoketails... mmm...
