As long as its the same battlegroup yes, i have toons spread from being new to being level capped. Been playing since vanilla days

You don't have to be in the same battlegroup, just the same faction.

I checked and didnt get a Real ID request, I have a GMail and a YAhoo floating, itll be the yahoo one my WoW is associated with
