flenhah drove up to SC Thursday and picked up  kenshintalian and brought him back to our house. I had to work Friday, unfortunately; so after watching the clock until lunch, I hurried back home and threw my stuff in my bags, and we loaded up the car. We arrived at the hotel a little after 3 and checked in... valet parking, woo! Our other two roommates for the weekend,  seaweed and  disel, made their way to the room and added to the pile.

We had a lot of fun; circulating around the Dealer's Den and Artist's Alley; pestered Tavi a bunch and Rama; watched Frozen in Omni's room. I picked up Tsuro, which I had a lot of fun with at MFM; and a Catbug plushie for Flen at the charity auction. Took lots of pics of the fursuiters out and about and during the dance competition. Saturday I got in a pool for the first time in 2 years and we discovered that swim diapies are really, really good at holding in moisture. A few cups of moisture. I lost track of how many changes I gave. Evenings we usually spent drinking and playing various games.

There was a plate of lasagna that appeared outside of room 1820 Friday night; over the course of the weekend as we passed by on our way to the elevator, we noticed it slowly get eaten and replaced by another plate of food. I speculated that coyotes and raccoons were roaming the halls at night scavenging. I tested the theory by putting a plate of uneaten chicken wings in hall; sure enough, it wasn't 60 seconds after I closed the door that there was a rustling and a voice exclaiming "chicken wings!" When I opened the door again, the wings were gone.

All in all, it was a very fun weekend, and a great way to spend the one year anniversary on Flen and I being together. Here's to many more, kiddo. ^^
