Skype or Google Hangouts?

I prefer to have a single means to communicate instead of hanging to have a redundant list. I need to decide one or the other, and I can use some input from how others feel about either or both. ^.^

So far I've been more accessible on Skype far more than the Google hangouts, but I know there are benefits to either of them. Plus I can get mobile push alerts from skype when I'm not "online" :P

If the bulk of your friends are on one or the other, might use the one that the most friends are on, so not having to ask them to switch their primary.
