Technology is getting so cheap, these days.

Got a TV? Like a modern one with HDMI ports? Then, you might want to check out the ChromeBox. Granted, it's still like $180. But, it's a striped down computer inside this tiny box. No fans. So, I guess it's not big on heat production.

There's also deals out there if you're crafty enough to score one. Say, somebody just has an old machine in storage that's too slow for modern needs. Might be able to score one of those for free or super dirt cheap. Why, I know that so many months back, places were hard pressed to give away towers. I've even seen internet plans that gave away Acer One's...which are amazing little machines to begin with.

Heh...it's not like I'm pitching the idea of getting a DreamCast, or anything. :P

Once upon a time, I was pitching DC for cheap internet machines. But, the net's gone so far beyond that funky browser with it's dial up modem. Your DS is at least 4 times as powerful. Well, maybe 5x.

Sometimes, electronics in dumpsters can be the best. I once found a Commodore under a bush. Who knows how long it had been under there, exposed to weather elements and dirt. ...ran better then the one I had already owned.

Got lucky with that DC. When the consoles were blown out at GameStop, I purchased and exchanged lemon after lemon after lemon. The console is alarmingly fragile.

Gads...I'm surprised that nobody has ever made a video game about going on the hunt for video games. I mean...if we now have a game named 'Goat Simulator'...

There's these guys on YouTube that have made a monthly episode show about hunting games all over Texas. Can't believe some of the rarities they dig up.
