Had some furs over last night for a little dinner party. I spent the whole day from about 0830 until their arrival getting the house, yard, and hot tub in shape. But, it was SO worth it. What an amazing time. I so needed that, just a couple hours of socialization coupled with a job well done. ^_^ I mowed the front and back yard, trimmed with the weed eater, trimmed the hedges, swept the sidewalk, cleaned it all up, sprayed weed killer in the back yard where the broad leafs are taking over and then shocked the hot tub. I ran to the store for some much needed items and a bit of Jameson irish whiskey and then came home to finish tidying up. We did dinner of chicken parmesan, spinach, and garlic bread and then played Munchkin Bites. ^_^ I won, of course. ;) Then, it was TO THE HOT TUB. I love my tub. Such a relaxing, refreshing soak. Sadly, all good things must come to an end and they had to leave, but what a GREAT NIGHT!
