Manchester mini furmeet on Saturday 12 April!

~ Please remember the meet is 16+ only ~





This months furmeet will be held at Tribecca bar in Manchester near Sackville gardens. If you are unsure where this is, newbies meet up at between 11am and 12pm at Manchester Piccadilly train station outside platforms 1 and 2. It always helps to have someone’s mobile number in case you get a bit lost or feel shy. Feel free to message any staff or volunteers to ask for a number to contact people on. Rixie & Elly will be waiting to welcome you at the station and are free to talk to any shy MancFurs who may be attending their first meet. Don’t worry! We've all been there! :) 



We’ll make our way to Tribecca, our host venue, dead on 12 so don't get left behind. After you’ve arrived, the day is yours to spend as you see fit. Go out with a group of your friends to the city centre, stay inside the venue and take part in some activities, sit in the nearby gardens, head to the cinema and so forth. Remember the fursuit walk is at 3pm so get changed before this time please!

Card games

Feel free to bring any card games you have like Pokemon or Magic. Don't be shy just ask to play! We have a few regular decks of cards kicking about so ask a volunteer and play away.



Art corner

Every meet we have an art corner hosted by Diesel and Kaoru. Feel free to pull up a chair and get drawing. This corner is open to everyone with pens and paper provided. Artists can sit down and even sell art/print/merc (No cash exchange inside the venue please) Speak to Diesel and Kaoru at the meet for further details!



Drinking games

Pretty obvious one there =P Take care of yourself! We're not babysitters.



Fursuit walk and route

The fursuit will take place at 3pm so we recommend you change before this time and be ready to leave. It's raining we usually stay inside the venue though.

NOTES

Fursuit lounge is booked until 6pm. Clearing begins at 5.30pm. Any items at 6pm will be moved by staff to the upstairs area.

Rixie is now officially staff. Title of venue liaison. So any issues with the venue go to her! =D

Staff leave at 6pm along with the equipment.

Hi, can I ask what the venue is like for accessibility? I've not been to a meet (anywhere) in ages as I use a wheelchair when I have to be out for a long time and don't know what the new venue is like. But would really like to come to a meet again, so does anyone know if it's possible to get a wheelchair in the new venue? For me short sets of steps (less then 5) aren't a problem but I can do long sets. Thanks.

Hello, the venue has a small set of stairs to access the building and a single step to gain acess to the Red lounge (where the artists alley is located). The fursuit changing area has no wheelchair access unfortunately.

Thanks for that, probably worth a shot at attending if I've got the energy on the day. I can always roll off and have a random day out if I can't cope with the venue.

If you need any assistance I will be at Picadilly train station from 11 -12 to greet furs as they arrive who do not know where our venue is or are new to the community as well as sone of our other meet team. I should be at the venue (Tribeca) no later than 12:15.

If you need any help during the meet feel free to ask meet staff (red lanyards) or volunteers (yellow lanyards) who should be able to help you during your time at the meet.

Well I made the train so it looks like I'm showing up. Will be at the meet point at the station, as I have no idea where the new venue is, the last meet I made it to was over six months ago.

Sorry I won't be able to attend this one - I'm planning on going to the July Manchester Meet!
Before that, I'll see the Manchester Furs at Confuzzled 2014!
