I like "the Walking Dead". I like apocalyptic fiction. But, honestly, while I wouldn't say "the show is too depressing" I will say that I'm exhausted by the monotony of it all. It's still brilliant (I am different from many fans who complain about the direction the show has taken ... I honestly loved season 4 and didn't think "the Farm" was all that bad) but despite this, the tone is so relentless that I'm finding it hard to have hope for the world any more.

I'm exhausted. I'll be glad to take some time off from the demolition of hope for a bit.

I just hope I'll be able to handle "Game of Thrones" next week.
