Don't know about any kind of furry guild yet - technically it's not been released yet - only people with early access are on it so give it a few weeks :}
I recommend against it. The beta was a dreadful experience, and as betas go how they handled it and its content speaks volumes about how they value their fans.
I ordered the game after playing in the beta. The game isn't a dreadful experience to me. It's fun and engaging with a wide, explorable world. They listened to a lot of the feedback given during beta, and implemented it in the game, which is far, far more than I've seen in a lot of MMO 'betas'. Zenimax seems keen on listening to player experience and growing from there. This isn't a post to provide negative reviews of the game, rather, I'm looking for fellow players, though I do thank you for warning me against it.
I just hope its worth it. If its gonna be another WoW clone, then I will seriously be disappointed in Bethesda for joining the bandwagon of rip-off clone mmo games.
I love the Elder Scrolls but I don't like MMOs. If you weren't one of the first people to get max level out the gate then you can never get in on the good raids, and then everyone does PVP which I can't wrap my head around so I just die a lot.
Eh. I don't know about this. The rush to end game isn't the point of ESO, though I'll admit that I can see problems with this. I'm sure if you want to do raiding, you can get into a raiding guild, though I'm more of a roleplayer than a raider. ESO has great single-player content, though. I haven't tried any group content yet.
I used to play City of Heroes and there was a story to that game, but nobody would know because they just rushed through it. Millions of people play World of Warcraft and have no clue about the lore. Everquest (when I left it) was about raiding for loot then auctioning it. I'm sure Bethesda intends for rp and single player fun, but it's in the hands of the players ultimately.
I know plenty of people who played both games and were well immersed in the respective lore. RP exists, but you have to look for it, and it's usually a very different crowd. Due to the onslaught and popularity of trolling, they tend to be careful in advertising.
Maybe when it goes free to play, I suppose?
As for a furry guild; give it time, as of yet I've not heard of anything.

I'm on the US servers.
