Playing with the Wii
Playing with the Wiiiii.
I was waiting in line for the two new consoles for most of last week. 3 days at Walmart for the PS3 (I didn't personally buy one, but I helped a friend get two so he could finance one of them by selling it on ebay.
Only had to wait 5 hours for the wii, and although I again held the line for someone else, I get to play my mate's system. Can't wait for the component cable. The sensor bar just draws power from the Wii, so we'll be making our own 'wireless' adaptor for it.
Twilight Princess is freaking awesome, I can't help but compare it to Okami and vice versa. I think in this case I'm glad that both developers seemed to borrow from each other. But I know its gonna create a firestorm of fanboy bullshit instead, about stealing ideas from so-and-so and whatnot. :B

I also can't help but notice the similarities between reviving Guardian Saplings in Okami and collecting Tears of Light in Zelda:TP among other things, but I am not crazed enough to come up with some "ZOMG IT WAS STOLE" idea. I'm sure Nintendo saw a few things that added to the experience in Okami and tweaked Zelda:TP a bit, but its all fine and good to me.
Twilight Princess is neither the 7/10 nor the 10/10 some reviewers have given it, but it and Okami are both great games.
I do however, like how Wolf link gets to eat twilight monster face with jump attacks.
