Commencing rawring...
It's been about a day since I got back home from the Furry Down Under convention at the Gold Coast on the weekend and I wanted to write a bit about it.
First of all, it was great! I met a bunch of people who I've only spoken to online, including sharing a room with my fellow GMod server admin friends

We all did a bunch of stuff including minigolf, a poker tournament and other stuff! All in sunny Surfer's Paradise. Except for the Thursday before the con started where there was non-stop rain!
I bought a few commissions from people which I may or may not scan and post here. One of the commissions isn't done yet so I look forward to getting it soon and one from an artist whose name I forgot. Great.
It was actually the first time I travelled any significant distance from home by myself and I want to do it again in the future. Perhaps a weekend trip to Melbourne is something I should do soon!
Overall, I had a great time at my first con and I'm definitely going to try to come back to FurDU again in 2015!
